About this stay
OVENDEN LODGE offers dog-friendly accommodation, in a self-contained "granny flat" surrounded by open paddocks at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. With its ponies, birds and chickens, it is a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.

John and Lina went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Great layout for a guesthouse. Shower, bed, kitchen and all appliances in good working order. Clean and comfortable bed and linens.

John and Lina were more than wonderful hosts. They were responsive right from the beginning and even checked what kind of milk we liked for the mornings! They were very flexible with check in and had the spa and sauna ready to go…
